Horam Community Pre-school

Welcome

Horam Community Pre-school is a committee run childcare provider, offering childcare and education to the children of Horam and it’s surrounding villages. We have been established since 1977 and are based in Horam Village Hall. We provide term time only childcare and education for children from 2years old to school age.

We provide a nurturing, friendly, safe and fun environment where children learn to interact with other children and adults, paving the way for their move to primary school.

Stimulating activities give children the opportunity to learn and develop to their full potential; a child’s pre-school experience will include outside play, cooking and making snacks, music, singing, games, stories, reading, painting, crafts, role play, construction, ICT.

We are a non-profit making organisation, set up as a charity, owned, managed and run by a committee made up mostly from parents.

The pre-school is open every day from 9.30am - 3.30pm during local authority term times.

We are registered to accept EYEE funding for 2, 3 and 4-year-olds and have a few spaces for the extended 30 hours funding.

• Lara Hollis ~ Deputy Manager / Lead SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator)
• Jo Sutton ~ 2 Year lead
• Lucy Carr ~ Practitioner
• Mandy Thomas; Ladawn Richardson; Judy Bowers; Jess Welfare ~ Assistants
• All staff (except Ladawn) have relevant Level 3 childcare qualifications, with Angela holding Level 4
